Former ambassador to head JPMorgan Japan's government relations and CSR Programme |

JPMorgan announced Tuesday that the former US ambassador to Malaysia, Christopher J LaFleur, has been named vice-chairman and head of government relations and corporate responsibility for Japan.
The move demonstrates that JPMorgan Securities Japan is ramping up its corporate and social responsibility (CSR) programme in Japan, which is felt to be lagging JPMorgan’s efforts in the rest of the world, a bank spokesperson said. LaFleur will therefore be giving as much weight to CSR as to government relations.
