| Eco Rangers hits first anniversary |

Toyota Eco Rangers, UMW Toyota Motor's tree-planting programme, celebrated its first anniversary recently. The event was marked by an awards ceremony to participating schools for their environmental efforts.
Twenty-two participating schools received the Green Merit award for their efforts in the programme.
UWM Toyota Motor executive director
Aminar Rashid Salleh was reported to have said, “We have established the Toyota Eco Rangers programme, a sustainable
tree planting programme that aims to inculcate a sense of
responsibility to the environment.”
Education Ministry
deputy director-general, Datuk Noor Rezan Bapoo Hashim, was reported to have said, “The programme provides an experiential learning platform for the
participants and promotes a holistic education.” |
