Make Provisions For Charity In Calendar Of Events, Says Jeanne Print E-mail

Corporate bodies must make it a point to make provisions for welfare and charity work in their annual calendar of events, says the Prime Minister's wife Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah. She said charity and welfare activities must be made a culture in the scope of social and community programmes carried out by corporate entities.
 
The private sector, she said, had extended good cooperation in implementing welfare programmes and hoped the support would continue.
 
"The private sector's commitment to charitable and welfare programmes is commendable," she said when launching the "Happy Family, Cheerful Society" programme hosted by the Budi Penyayang Foundation here today.
