PenangA Malaysian company and individual were commended at the first Corporate Social Responsibility Certification Ambassadorship Programme (CSR-CAP) Awards established by Ansted Social Responsibility International Awards (Asria).

Port Klang-based Northport (M) Bhd received the CSR-CAP Award in the company category for its work in the “Northport CSR Project 2007”. 

In the project, the company’s initiatives centred on a life-long education programme, employee sustainability, business safety and community technology terminal initiative.
