Malaysian-Norwegian Business Council For Native Malaysian Children Print E-mail

The Malaysian-Norwegian Business Council (MNBC) has donated RM45,000 to nonprofit, Living Hope, for the purposes of building an education resource centre for Native Malaysian (Orang Asli) children in the state of Pahang. The centre is said to benefit some 200 children in Semoa, Raub.

Living Hope founder, Dr Peggy C. Wong, was reported to have said that the donation would go towards erecting the building, purchasing furniture, books and computers for the children. The nonprofit has helped more than 17,000 children in Malaysia with education, food and school bags, books and stationery
