UMW donates land for Tamil school in Serendah |

UMW Holdings Bhd has donated a two-acre plot in Serendah worth RM544,500 to be used for the building a Tamil school.
UMW said in a statement the donation towards education reflected its corporate social responsibility commitment to the next generation of Malaysians.
This follows an earlier project by UMW Holdings Berhad to donate 8-acres of UMW land in Serendah, valued at RM2.0 million, to ex-workers of the New Serendah Estate, through RV Global Sdn Bhd, which acts as a legal entity to represent them.
