Toyota Presents Cadaques Orchestra in CSR Charity Event |

Toyota Classics is hosting a charity concert featuring Spain’s famous Cadaques Orchestra. The event will take place on Sunday 18th November (8pm) at Auditorium Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam.
The proceeds from the event will be donated to following charities: Rumah Kanak-Kanak Taman Bakti, Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang Persatuan Kebajikan Orang Cacat Manjung, Perak Persatuan Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Klang, Selangor.
The orchestra will perform under the conductor Pablo González, who is assistant conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Bourne-mouth Sinfonietta, and the National Youth Orchestra of Spain. Featured tenor, Francisco Vas will be joined by Malaysian Sean Ghazi, whos have played leading roles in West End musicals such as The King and I, Miss Saigon and Rent.

Biotech on track to hit target |

Malaysian Biotechnology Corp Sdn Bhd (Biotech Corp) says the National Biotechnology Plan (NBP) for capacity building is on track although work still needs to be done in providing a climate conducive to investment as well as developing human capital.
Chief executive officer Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood said Biotech Corp had been focusing on how to improve the investment climate so foreign investors could work and benefit in the local environment. “As with any emerging industry, we've to scale up in terms of the developmental work,” he said. |
